God’s Pursuit of His People

God pursued Abraham and Abraham was faithful.  He and his family followed the call to the land that God promised him.  Abraham’s family eventually went to Egypt where for 400 years the suffered under harsh circumstances.  They grew numerically but suffered as slaves of the Pharoah.  This caused the majority to feel God had forsaken them. God had not forgotten them. See Exodus 6:2-8.
