Glorious Grace

The Magnificat

Mary’s time has been fulfilled. She will give birth to the Blessed One.  We celebrate now.

“Let it be according to your Word!”

The Magnificat was given for many reasons but one of those might be to reflect on what it means to have the Savior she nurtured.  How is He moving in you?  Is He moving as He did in Mary? What is He saying to you today?  Receive Him and be fulfilled in His love and grace this moment. He is waiting to give you these and more.

Only The Word of God Can do this?

Sometimes 1 pictures is worth 1000 words. This is one of those pictures.

What does this picture do for you?  Are you sensing Jesus through His Word embracing you as this?  Do you want to experience Jesus this way?

I am spending this year, 2013, diving into the Word of God and longing through this experience to sense His work in my heart and life.  This has been extreme pleasure and joy.  Feel free to comment.

Ephesians 3

Prayer for Spiritual Strength

14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to xthe riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 aso that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being brooted and cgrounded in love, 18 may have strength to dcomprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and eheight and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ fthat surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all hthe fullness of God.
20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, kaccording to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

I come to a topic that has been made, by God the Father, so intimate to me.

His Church, ‘…upon this rock, I will build My Church (so strong) and the gates of hell will not prevail against It!’ – Jesus

Guard Your Heart, Part 2

Above all else,

guard your heart,

for it is the wellspring of life.

Proverbs 4:23

Lord Jesus, convict me and your people of these words from you. May I yield to this truth today.

To truly guard our hearts we soften them though humility and surrender to Him, our beloved. As we surrender, He will give us a willingness to embrace his Cross: suffering, crucifixion, and even death. Oh, but, we receive so, so much. He gives in return resurrection, life, and glory.

The surrender is well worth the rewards my brothers, my sisters. Seek Him, surrender, and receive.

EPIC: We All Live in an EPIC Acts 3&4 (LR)

Eldredge gives us a vision here of the beauty and majesty of the Creation act with so much honor and glory given to the Creator. All of creation worships the Creator. The Creator loves His creation. We, the created, were created to love Him back.

He gives us a hint of the backdrop of the Lord of the Rings. We were made for this. We were made for more. We all long for Eden, and all that comes with it–the ultimate home going, being in His presence.

The Fall portends the Evil that hunts us to this day. Beware!! Don’t betray your Savior or His salvation and Glory or your brothers and sisters.
