Psalm 1 — Take 2

Psalm 1 The Message (MSG)

1 How well God must like you—
you don’t hang out at Sin Saloon,
you don’t slink along Dead-End Road,
you don’t go to Smart-Mouth College.

2-3 Instead you thrill to God’s Word,
you chew on Scripture day and night.

Open Bible

You’re a tree replanted in Eden,
bearing fresh fruit every month,

Never dropping a leaf,
always in blossom.

… …

6 God charts the road you take.

Yes! My favorite comparison is with Youngs Literal translation.

Youngs used to be one of my favorite’s to carry around or use in parallel. Not I don’t know where it is.

But is a very good translation of the NT.

I have Quick verse Bible software on my desktop and Young’s is there. It is also available free on “YouVersion” Bible. This is the one that you can download free to your smartphone or tablet.
