I pulled the first video because of the story on the front end told by Kary Oberbrunner. This guy lays out the
issues and deals with pain, first in a negative way through cutting, but then he has a break through and his life changes dramatically. Please listen to his story.
Kary Oberbrunner chats about his ten year addiction to self-mutilation and how he found freedom and can now minister to others with the same problem. Also, Matthew Harmon and Kara Ericson talk about their struggle with cutting and the steps they took to fight the addiction. cutting self-injury

Just saw an email from u the other day (as thanks for commenting) and realized when my favorites got cut out, so did your blog.
Interesting topic here, and definitely something that I believe has a demonic oppression aspect to it. Remember in 1 Kings 18 the prophets of Baal cut their arms (as though to grab the attention of their demonically inspired god, baal).
There is something about the blood that gets satan and his flunkies excited, so I think cutting may be related to that.
1 Kings 18:28
And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.

I find Kary’s story to be amazing and I am glad he was able to free himself from his self inflicted pain.

This is great advice for anyone suffering from self mutilation. I myself used to cut myself in order to gain attention from my peers. At a certain point, the scars I used to be so proud to show made me want to throw up. I know I will have to get plastic surgery for my scars, but I have found ways to cope with the self-inflicted pain of past.
