Do followers of Jesus Christ still need the Gospel spoken to them after becoming true followers of Him? I believe we do. I believe the Gospel of Grace has a deeper value to Christians than I first realized. I used the term Gospel of Grace to make that point. It truly is the Gospel of Grace and it is Grace that believers need to sustain them and to experience the abundant life Jesus promised.
Today we hear a subtle misrepresentation of what motivates believers and what empowers believers. Is it law, law mixed with grace, or simply grace alone? There is a struggle going on between the Evil One and the Spirit that resides in all of us if we are true followers of Jesus Christ.
Let’s wake up to the realization that Christians just love law because it is easier to live in Law than by Grace. As Tullian Tchividjian says in his new book: Jesus + Nothing = Everything, “The logic of law makes sense. The logic of grace, on the other hand, doesn’t.” Continue reading

I like what the source said about prayer for her:
Ask the Lord to protect her from further harm. Pray that she will rest in the knowledge that the Good Shepherd walks with her through this difficult time (Psalm 23). Pray her faithful testimony will be used as a witness for the gospel. Pray for all Christians in Somalia.
