I am going to feature some videos by John Eldredge. I don’t know all of his philosophy or theology, so I can’t speak about him in a holistic way. However, here, He is saying something worth listening to.
Take note–men, you have a masculine heart that God has given and wants to nurture. Women, you have a feminine heart that God has given you and wants to nurture.
Why has God given you a part to play? What is your role? Is there more? Where and how do we commit?
We will be looking at how we nurture our hearts throughout the 2013 adventure.
Any time you see LR in the title of a blog this year, it stands for Lord of the Rings or Lord Reigns. It’s a hint that the blog is about the themes delivered in the Lord of the Rings trailer.

I love the Eldredge’s! I have read Captivating (the women’s version) several times and HIGHLY recommend it for all women. It was the first Christian book about women I found that was from such a positive view point. I admit, I read the book for men too “Wild at Heart” It was really good and helped me understand men better.

More from Eldredge is coming. These videos and his camps, apparently (I have not been to them), focus on the themes from the Lord of the Rings. I want to flesh out the LOTR themes in more detail in the next few months.
